A little more about us!

Is a co-ed sport fielding three teams, U15, 2nd and 1st. Our inter-schools matches take place on a Tuesday afternoon during the winter terms.

The girls’ teams play in the top league in the province, competing against the best players each weekend. Currently we field a 1st, 2nd and 3rd team in the U18 section. We have 3 U16 teams (A, B and C) and we have two U14 teams (A and B.) We practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays and play matches either on a Friday or Saturday morning.

“…Westerford opened at the beginning of January 1953, housed in an old homestead which no longer exists. The site was originally known as Westervoort, but the school was known as Claremont Secondary School from the name of the school which shared a property with a small primary school on Dean Street. The pupils from Claremont Secondary School initially transferred their desks to the new property at the end of 1952….”
