As one of the most popular sports at Westerford, we boast over 15 competitive teams participating in local high school leagues for both girls and boys in the summer season. Boys play matches on Wednesdays and girls on Thursdays.

Wednesdays after school either home or away (a school bus is provided for away fixtures)
It’s recommended that players use basketball shoes (as opposed to takkies) to protect their ankles and knees.
We enter six teams into the league (two for each age group), but we also run an internal league for players who don’t make these teams.

Every pupil participate in both summer and winter sports. Grade 8 pupils have to play a team sport in their Grade 8 year.
Fixture days and times are subject to change up until the point that they are played. Please check these regularly.
